With so many possibilities to choose from, finding the best Dublin hotels can seem daunting. From budget backpacker hostels to five star gems, Dublin is blessed with so many fine hotels!
For the best Dublin experience, we recommend choosing a hotel in the city center as Dublin is such a walkable city. There is no need to rent a car or take too many taxis or other transports. If your plans take you outside of Dublin, rent the car on the way out of town, or return upon arrival.

Best Dublin Hotels - Dublin Airport
Travelers flying to the USA are advised to arrive at Dublin Airport three hours and sometimes more ahead of their flight during the busy seasons. This is because of the need to go through normal airport check-in and security, as well as an additional security check with US Customs and Immigrations before boarding USA bound flights. For this reason, many visitors prefer to stay close to the airport the night prior to departure to take some of the stress out of the airport experience.
While airport hotels are not the same experience as the nicer hotels in the city center, here are a few we've stayed at that are nice, comfortable, and convenient for airport departures.
